So I have some images taken under very similar conditions that I would like to display. The images needed some level and color balance changes but that I can manage on my own.
However, when trying to get the images to appear congruent the levels and color balance do not match. I have tried to do this manually but it has proven to be quite a feat. I saved the setting from one image’s levels and applied to the other but it did not work as well as I would have liked.

Is there any way I can get the images to have similar color and level profiles?

Have you tried the "Match Color" function (Image>Adjust>Match Color)? Sometimes produces good results… sometimes not so good.

Carolina: a thousand words may give a good description but a look at the image helps enormously.

You could pop an image to www.pixentral.com and post the link here if you wish.
