I’m having a problem installing 7.0 onto a Mac OS X from version 5.0. The installation gets stuck on "swd42.lex". Does anyone know what this is and where it resides, and can I bypass or delete it before installation?

All you need to install is version 7. Enter your old number when asked.

"swd42.lex" is the Swedish language library.

Do you really need this? Something smells funny here. Are you primarily a speaker of English?

Did you recently purchase Photoshop 7 as an "OEM" version (disk only, no box) from a web vendor somewhere? If so, what’s the vendor’s website?

Oh, sorry, I forgot to say that it’s the 7.0 "upgrade". And no, I don’t need the Swedish language library. That’s why I want to get rid of it. Can I find it somewhere and delete it before I install? My husband bought the program, I’ll have to ask where he bought it from.
