Clone tool in PS CS stopped working

I have been using CS for several months now, and the clone tool stopped working about 2 months ago. Everything else works fine. I am using a PowerMac G5 with Panther. Any suggestions?

The first thing to try is to quit the application, trash the preferences file, then Repair Permissions with Apple’s Disk Utility.

Actually, the FIRST thing might be for you to say exactly what you mean by "not working." Will it not stamp what you sample at all? Will it stamp something, but not what you sample? What are your Options Bar and Brush settings when you try to use it? On what type of layer are you trying to use it? You know, stuff like that.

It will not stamp what I sample at all.
I think I found the problem – i.e., the opacity was set way too low! Thanks much.
