I am a relatively new user of Photoshop 7, I have developed a small problem. Whenever I highlight something with the retangular marquees tool the image snaps to a small circle or oval. What do I do to get back to the rectangle?

Please respond to as I am not a forum member

Thanks in advance

This is not a forum, it is a newsgroup. Re your problem, You’re sure you are using the first left tool on the tool bar to "select" parts of your image?? If so, do you have a high "feather" number set on the options bar? Click on it to highlight it and set it to zero.(type it in)
