I create or load an image in CS2 9.0.1 at 72 pixels/inch. If I then save this out to PNG format, the resolution is reset to 72.009. Is this a bug in the PNG format or PS?

Normally it probably wouldn’t matter but I’m using the images for Windows UI software development and images don’t display correctly at non-standard resolutions.

Thanks.

If you save to PNG via Save for Web it will strip the resolution data completely, if that’s any help…
