I am consistently finding that many images, perticularly those that are shot under twilight conditions, print significantly darker than on my monitor using photoshop. (iMAC G5). I have tried changing monitor and printer (Canon i9900) profiles but that does not make a difference. I notice that depending on the angle at which you look at the screen, the image can be variably darker or lighter.

What is commonly accepted as the correct angle to look at a screen from, and does anyone have any advice as to how to more exactly obtain prints that resemble whats on the monitor?

thanks,
Jordan
