Adjusted Refresh Plugin CS may hamper performance?

The installation instructions for the Adjusted Refresh Plugin for Photshop CS say that it may decrease overall performance for machines with multiple processors or over 1gb RAM. I have both, so is it recommended that i rather DON’T install it?

Yes, do not. Anways, that plug-in just changes the size of the tiles in the images, they are smaller, so each one updates faster, but they are more of them to be updated…
