Please help me before i lose it!! (CS4 Plugins related)

ok, i am having the weirdst problem i have seen to date and i have reached the end of the line. for some reason, when i double click on a raw file and open it from my computer, it opens up in PS but all my plugins and filters are not there. however, if i open photoshop directly and then open the same exact file from inside photoshop, all my plugins are there and working as they should.

help!!! i really need to get this thing working before i just lose it and send it back to Adobe for a refund.

16 bit per channel images can’t be processed by most plugins. One way delivers 8 bit, the other 16. See menu Image… mode…

actually, the problem seem to be that the 64 bit is my default program and no matter what i do i can’t seem to change it to the 32 bit version. unless i can change this, i think that i have no choice but to go back CS3 and simply return this version

Close the 64 bit version and restart the computer.

Find the .exe file for the 32 bit version* and put a shortcut on your desktop. Use that to start Photoshop.

* in c:\Program Files(x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4
