Hi all, I have scanned an image that is from the 50’s. It is grainy and just not very good. The main problem is it has a flare on the picture, whereas, one part of the picture looks ghosted. Can anyone offer a solution to equalize this are so it looks even overall. I’ve never encountered this, so I’m not sure the best way to approach it. I’m assuming a photoshop wiz is amonst the readers here who might offer assistance. Thank you, John.

For the best chance at receiving proper guidance you should post a link to a decently sized image of the scan, preferably 800px or more in the shortest dimension.

You can use an image hosting service such as <http://www.pixentral.com>
