Hi,

I’m having problems using the Color Replacement Tool. I’m changing a blue shirt to a yellow shirt, using CMYK, close as I can get it to the designated color, Spot color is not needed. Problem is, as I paint over the area I want to recolor yellow, the color is becoming whiter each time I apply a brush stroke over a previous brush stroke. I’m doing it as carefully as I can, in one go, but there’s still evidence of the direction of the painting left behind. It seems to be connected to pressure and number of strokes applied, but the result is that the recoloring looks a bit patchy instead of a flat replaced color.

I’ve tried different adjustments in the options bar – pen pressure, %, etc -but nothing seems to affect it.

Any ideas how this can be avoided?

Thanks!
