As a general rule, convert to sRGB and use "Save for Web" to optimize the image.

Use RGB for images being viewed on a monitor and CMYK for printing. I find that optimizing my images using "Save for Web" and choosing JPEG 60% does a great job. Some of what I’ve created can be found on my webpage.
