I am running Photoshop CS2 on Mac OS 10.4.7
After I set the brush display to "Normal Brush Tip" it wll eventually revert back to "Standard" and I am unable to change it in preferences. I must restart my computer to get the preferences to allow me to change to "Normal Brush Tip"

A similar thing happens in the marquee, the lasso, and the magic wand pallets. If I chose "subtract from selection" the cursor will eventually diappear.

Either you’re hitting CAPS LOCK, or you’re running into a MacOS 10.4 bug that fails to update the cursor correctly (thank you Apple).

Yeah, I noticed that in other programs too.
