I am new to the windows version of Photoshop. On the Mac platform I could command-click the document title bar and then the folder containing the document would open.

Is there anyway to quickly open the containing folder of an open document in Windows XP?

It depends what you want to do. You can’t actually open Windows Explorer [I don’t think!], but if you do a Save As … you get a File Save dialog into th erigh tfolder. In Windows, you can do a lot of file manipulation from there – rename, copy, delete, new folder etc. Right mouse click is the secret.

Thanks that helps with some tasks. My main objective is usually to open other documents in the same folder, which I can’t open from the "save as" folder. .

If you use the Open command in the File menu, and navigate to the image folder you want, the next time you use the Open command, it will start in that folder.
