I am sorry if this is an old one but searching Google, the forum and the FAQ didn’t yield anything.

Is there a preference or a modifier to scale the layer effects when you use free transform on a layer?
The only way I can see is to remember the amount of scaling shown in the control palette and enter that number in the "scale effects" dialog in a second step.

If I remember correctly this used to be dependant on the checkbox "scale styles" in the image-size-dialog. But no longer.

Am I overlooking something?

Thank you
Gerald

THe scale styles checkbox you’re referring to is in the image size dialog box. Using image size you can scale styles, but with free transform it does take two steps.
