hello,

can’t for the life of me get my image to save as a transparent gif. i’m setting the matte to the right color, and i’m sure the browser isn’t caching the image.

has anyone else ever had this problem? i feel like it’s a bug because it USED to work.

thank you

CSCS,

Did you double click your image in Elements to make it a standard layer, then use the Color wand to select the white background, click Delete, then Save for WEB and GIF format with transparency checked?

thought you could setup a background color to use that as a matte which would act as the transparency? is that not the case? saving when the layer in the back was transparent worked.

thank you bobhill.
