Hi all! Please excuse me if this is the incorrect place to post…

I have Photoshop 7.0 and I use Windows XP

I am trying to create a "static" or "animated" banner in 468×60 px I have created the banners that I like, however I am unsure how to make them animated. Please advise if you know how.
Thank you in advance,
Laura

You’ll have to do the animation in Imageready

BTW, static and animated are exact opposites…

Then how come the static on my TV moves all over the place?

And when I have static in my hair, it moves all over the place?

Huh? HUH! HUNH!?

Thank you for your reply, I am obviously new at this seeing as I didn’t know the differences in static and animated then 🙂
I would like it to be a banner ad that moves (animated I suppose) I am unsure of what image ready is or where I would locate this, could you please advise? Thank you again.

Hi Laura,

Try the tutorial at this link.

< http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/photoshop/articles/phs8swi pe.html>

It does assume some basic knowledge of layers and masks, but it doesn’t really get any easier than this.

Hope this helps.

Google, on the other hand, should really get things moving for you. Just do a search for "animated gif tutorial".
