All of a sudden when I add a stroke to an image, it’s uneven, and the image degrades? I’ve never seen this before. I looked to see it there might be something set someplace. But short of re-installing PS2, I don’t know what to do. All I know is this is very frustrating, to just start that way? Any suggestions.

Thanks

How are you making the Stroke? Is it a Layer Style?

Maybe reset/trash Preferences as per the FAQs.

I tried stroking both ways, directly to the image and using a layer. Where can I get the information on the Preferences?

Thanks,

Well I did all the prefs resetting, and nothing seems to work, now when I try to stroke, it strokes the left side, the top, and the bottom, but not the right side, and it still degrades the image. I’ve given up. I just can never use the stroke tool!!!!

Are you viewing the image at 100%?

That’s exactly what it sounds like. I’ll bet you’re not viewing at 100%.
