I used the magic wand tool in PS CS to select the white background around an image. I used the magic eraser tool to get rid of the selected white color. I saved the image as a PSD file and tried to place it in a graphic box in InDesign which has a slight background color.

When this image placed anyplace a thin black line is visible around the box of the image size. The image otherwise is transparent.

I went back to PS and tried to get rid of the border but it looks like a border value of 1 pixel is the minimum.

I can edit the corners of this box via InDesign

How can I get rid of the thin line surrounding the image box?

There is no stroke color around the box.

Thanks in advance.

All I can think is you are seeing the frame in InDesign.

Does this white line print? if no its not there.

My bad. There was a stroke around the PSD file. There was not on the other two yet all of them show the same line.

Printing it solved the problem.

Thanks again.
