Ok So I finally bought this elements and what a huge learning curve it is going to be. the info said to pick from many frames and just drag and drop to see the effect….but alas where are all these photos. I am trying to scan photos, resize and add frames so that I can then print them and put them in a huge collage. that’s why I bought this program. any help is great.

There are about 15 ready made frames under Effects/Frames (in palette well).

Thank you I found them with your help but now when I put a some frames on the picture they create another layer and them totally cover the picture with the selected design. How can I get the design only to be the frame AROUND the pict?

Every one I tried DOES put effect around outside of pic. Actually, some of them crop into the pic some, to keep orig pixel counts the same.

Actually, some of the ADD pixel dimensions to the pic, also.

But none "cover" it.
