I recently switched to Mac and use a Mac Pro as my image editing machine. However, for no reason I can deduce, I can no longer get quality prints from my printer.
Background:
Epson R2400 printer
Photoshop CS2
24" and 20" Dell LCD’s calibrated with Monaco Optix XR Pro.
The prints are soft-proofed in PS CS2 to the paper to be printed on and all settings in PSCS2 have been verified as:
Example
Color Management:
– Proof: (profile: SPR2400 PremSemgle.icc)
Options:
– Color Handling: Photoshop Determines Colors
– Printer Profile: Working RGB
– Rendering Intent: Perceptual
– Proof Setup Preset: (Saved proofing profile is here)
This is the same basic setup from my PC days, but on the Mac, the prints are dark and muddy. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.
