Keyboard Short Cuts not working- Spacebar won’t work for hand tool

Some of my default keyboard short cuts suddenly stopped working…

1) I can’t use the space bar to access the hand key

2) I cant use option to sample a color

I have checked my system preferences and can’t find anything wrong.

Because these are the short cuts that allow you to temporarily access a tool without switching to that tool I can’t change figure out how to change them back.

Please help… I can not work like this.

Go to System Preferences/Keyboard & Mouse/Keyboard Shortcuts and either uncheck, or change, the shortcuts (particularly those in the Universal Access section) that are conflicting with your Photoshop ones.

Thanks for the sugguestions… but unfortunatly I have already checked system preferences. Nothing is conflicting.

Does anyone know how to reset these short cuts in photoshop?

Did you actually TRY UNchecking the System shortcuts?

Another program that causes conflicts is Spotlight.

Go to System Preferences/Spotlight
and UNcheck those keyboard shortcuts as well.

Then re-boot.
