Hi all!

Recently I have started getting errors when using Photoshop, but it’s not very consistent. There are a few different files that I have that no longer open in Photoshop. I assume this is because of a currupt file, because other files open just fine. (Although the "corrupt files" open fine in the GIMP, but that’s neither here nor there.)

Anyway, the main issue I am having is that if I click on the text icon and then go to create a text box, as soon as I click, I get a popup command line window which reads:

Assertion (inbuf <= + sizeof(buf))) failed in "SAHYALLO.C", line 134

My only option at that point is to quit Photoshop. The odd thing though, is that the place in the top menu bar that usually says "Photoshop" is then blank, and the Photoshop menu is moved over to the other end, and the whole thing seems really messed up.

Here are some Photos and a more detailed Description. This happens without fail, any time I try to use text.

Maybe corrupt font issue?

Just a wild guess…

Google for that and you’ll find instructions for fixing it.
