Running Windows XP on new CS2. Not very competent user of Photoshop and still learning. However, on old Photoshop 6 & 7, no problem in flattening layers and saving as jpg in drop-down list.
This does not even appear on my list now and need to use this in other Applications. Any help to a rather non-techie person? (Absolutely nothing on this in any Help or Knowledge Base.) Thank you

You might want to check your color mode. If it is set to lab color, it will not save as a jpg. Lee Pierce

Also check bit depth. 16- and 32-bit images won’t save as JPEG.
