Photoshop says I’m am running a trial version, only until I activate. Well I’ve typed in my Activation code, but it says unable to connect, and the only other option is to call. Well no thanks. Why can I not connect?

Why can I not connect?

Make sure that it is explicitly allowed to connect through your firewall.

Because calling usually becomes a frustration. Not being able to understand the other person, or waiting years just to get through.

Brad,

Although I’m no fan of activation, the process of activating by phone is automated and pretty painless unless there is a problem with the activation code itself. If there is, then you’re already a step ahead of the game over using an internet connection, since you’d be having to call for personal support anyway. If the automated process fails by phone, you will be transferred to customer support. Apart from that, if you can’t connect directly over the internet then the problem does sound like a firewall issue on your system, so I’d look there first…..well, assuming you have a firewall.

Regards,

Daryl
