Having trouble creating new Style preset in CS2

Hey-

I am trying to create a new style button from a design I made, but am having trouble. I searched the photoshop ‘help’ website, and found a few answers, but what appears to be at issue is that my ‘new style’ icon on my styles pallet is not illuminated, and therefore not responding when clicked…..

I use CS2 on a Macbook pro.

Hi Anne,

If you open a new blank file, make a new layer and double click on it (in the Layers palette) to bring up the Layer Style window is New Style… available there?

I’m trying to figure out the steps you are using to try and make a new style.
