Hi all,

here’s the situation: My goal is to put the bride and groom in an AVI animated file of two champaign glasses in motion. I took one photo of them and cropped them (in half) in to two photos successfully. Can I make their backgrounds totally transparent to the liquid in the glass by creating some kind of mask? If it can be done, can you lay it out for me step by step. In other words the bride and groom’s background will be the liquid in the animated AVI file as if they were just tossed into their resprectful glass.

TIA

Alan,

Check out the help file, it has some good info on how to achieve transparency with masking. You can do this in many ways in Photoshop. One of the best is via a layer mask.
