colour of photos

when opening a new photo, the colour is a bright pink, and I am unable to change it. If I check print preview, the colours are as they should be.
this makes it impossible to edit a picture when the colour is pink. Can you help me??

Hi Basil,

It sounds like you need to calibrate your monitor … a little while back there was a thread on how to do it. Just in case you need to know the info is at:
