Try copy/pasting the block of text into TextEdit.

Make the TextEdit document "Plain Text" to strip-out any formatting.

Then re-copy the text and paste into Photoshop.

Did the Pages text have special characters? formatting?

The text block had carriage returns and bullets. I just retyped everything in Photoshop but I just posted this in case it was helpful.

look for "Pure Text" – great little free utility for striping out formating. just click the taskbar icon (or set a hotkey) and its cleared.

Or you can use Text edit

Hmm, that looks like an old MacOS memory corruption error (involving formatted text copied and pasted) — but that was fixed back in 10.5.2 or so.

Ok, we’ll take a look.

presume this is the Mac site??

PS CS 4 crashes all of the time for no apparent reason and i have no clue where to start to fix this problem.

I would like to know if I’m just lucky or other people have had this problem too and how they fixed it. i already downloaded and installed something relating to the graphics card issue.

also, i’d like to hear from someone that has had this problem and found a fix for it because with the amount of crashing PS CS 4 does, it is less than useless to me as it is now.

Thank you,

RMMS
