Hi,
whenever I try to open a document in Photoshop it quits on me. I can open any document if I go through Bridge. I have uninstalled my whole Creative Suite and installed it again, this time without Version Cue. Still, when I go to Open and double click on the doc I want to open, Photoshop quits and crashes. The strange thing is as well, that it still looks like Version Cue is installed in the "Open" window.
I wonder if the problem has something to do with Version Cue. Before I uninstalled everything, I went to the System Preferences and tried to disable Version Cue there and it also would crash on me.
I am using a Intel MacPro, OS 10.5.5, 10 MB RAM
Thanks for any suggestions,
Anne

I have uninstalled

yes, but did you trash all the preferences, too

did you do any routine maintenance

did you try a new user account

I recall this is a known issue, did you try searching for a solution

Disable the TWAINplugin and scan from outside of Photoshop.

Also check for bad or duplicate fonts.

It could also be a corrupt printer driver.

TWAIN generally crashes at launch.

Printer drivers crash when opening or creating a document.
