Purple cast

Scanned in an image from a wedding album and printed it. It came out with a purple cast. Fixed the image in PE2. On screen it is perfect, but it continues to print with a heavy purple cast. What needs to be done to correct the problem?

Have you calibrated your monitor?

Thank you Wendy. Recalibration solved the problem. I had calibrated the monitor about two and a half years ago but it must have slipped out of adjustment.
