Will Elements (ver 1.0.128) run from a flash drive without altering the host computer’s registry? I’d like to take Elements with me on vacation and use it on a friend’s computer.
I tried copying the working Elements folder to the flash drive. When I opened Elements from the flash drive plugged into a different computer, I got the dreaded message: "cannot complete your request because of missing or invalid personalizion information."
I am concerned that if do a fresh install directly to the flash drive, the install program will modify the registry, which will be no help when I try to run Elements from the flash drive on another computer.
