Using Mac OSX 10.3.4, every time I select Print, the pring dialog comes up exactly in the middle of my screen, and when I choose Pring Settings, the window goes off the bottom of the screen.

I drag it to the top, but next time I print, same thing. Tried deleting the prefs.. no change.

Any suggestions? I did search here and found nothing similar.

Jeffrey,

Do you have your screen resolution set to 1024×768?

No, it’s set to 1152×768, which is the native resolution of the 15 inch Powerbook.

Jeffrey, try deleting the prefs manually. They’re in your user>library>prefs folder and you want com.adobe.photoshop.elements.plist and the Elements preference folder.

If that doesn’t do it–I haven’t heard of anyone having this problem in Panther with PE, but with Appleworks there’s a weird bug where some people have to put the dock on the bottom of the screen because putting it on the side makes windows slip away like away like that.

You might also try deleting com.apple.printcenter.printing prefs.plist. (It’s something like that–maybe not exactly that.)

Sorry, none of these things fixes it, including finder.plist.
