I have CS3 installed on an Acer laptop running Vista Ultimate, 2GB Ram, Intel Dual Core @ 2.0 GHz., and a NVIDIA GeForce GO 7600 display adapter. Driver version 7.15.10.9746
When I go Preferences > Performance I get an error message "nVidia Open GL Driver" "Driver components mis-match. Exit is the only option" I click OK and Photoshop exits. CS3 seems to run fine except for this.
I have tried to run CS3 in safe mode to change the Preformance settings but CS3 cannot find the license settings in safe mode and it shuts down.
Any sugestions?

You can report nVidea Vista driver issues here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/vistaqualityassurance.html, maybe they will have some ideas.

Mark,

Please try Help > System Info and see if the same problem applies there.

Also be sure you have the latest Vista drivers for your video card.
