Hi!
We are working on our scrapboook, and have run into yet another problem. We scanned many photos from old scrapbooks and burned them onto a disk. They saved as Windows Picture and Fax Viewer files. We cannot get them to copy in order to copy and paste onto pages in Photoshop, so we opened them with Adobe Photoshop Elements. We were able to reformat the size of one picture for a page, but we want several photos on each page. How can we transfer photos from one file or page onto another within Photoshop Elements 2.0? We are so worried that we’ll have to rescan and save all of the pictures again and that would be so much work!!!!!!!! HELP!

Create a new image in the size you want your scrapbook page to be. Make sure the resolution is adequate for printing (250-300 ppi minimum). Leave it open.

Then open one of the pictures you want to put on the page. Look at your Layers palette — you should see a thumbnail image of the active picture. With your mouse click and hold the thumbnail and drag it to the scrapbook page image.

You should now have two layers for your scrapbook image — one for the background layer and one for the picture you just dragged in. You can use the move tool to position the picture where you want it.
To add more pictures, repeat the second step.
