Frames around objects

Dear reader,

Looking for a solution for the following issue; a customer of mine is using photoshop (cs3), for some reason a frame appeared around objects. How can it be removed ?

Made a shot of it:

The visibility of that box is controlled by state of the "Show Transform Controls" checkbox in the Options Bar when the Move tool is selected.
