ps cs2 suddendly wont work?

Hello,

I use Photoshop for 1-2 years now,
From today it wont work like it should work,

Photoshop starts like it should,
But when I do File > new

He wont make new file,

I can only open PSD files and when I open a PSD file THEN I can make a new file …

Also I can’t use filter > render,

Just nothing happens,

I tried to reinstall but it didend work,

Any solution?

How did you delete the prefs file, manually or with ctrl-Alt-Shift on startup? If the latter, did you get an acknowledgement message confirming you wanted to delete the preferences?

Didend get any message,
I delete the pref file itself, …
But guys this is strange, on startup it works again 🙁
I restarted the pc and it works perfectly now …
