Here’s the steps to printing centered images with CS3, Epson printers and Win XP:

open image in Photoshop CS3

make canvas larger than image and centered with equal borders

in Photoshop print dialog, select page setup and select sheet size and landscape or portrait to match image

then click layout tab and then ‘reduce/enlarge’ and then ‘custom’,and select 100% scale – return to page tab and do not select ‘center image’ in Epson driver

return to PS and select ‘center image’ and then set image scale to 100% – do not select ‘scale to fit media’

print image – image will be the correct size and centered

Roll media prints centered as before with CS2 and earlier versions of Photoshop.

Sheer programming genius.

There’s a a much easier way to print properly from CS3.

Don’t use CS3.

One step instead of seven.
