Photoshop CS4 crashes everytime I close the program

Although Photoshop CS4 is running fine on my 2008 Imac 2.8 ghz, when I close the program it crashes, before reinstall it, is there anything can do, to hopefully fix the issue?

Does it still crash if you remove the third-party plug-ins?

ann’s suggest is good

also check that you are running the update 11.01.

You may also want to to turn off all fonts with the exception of the system fonts and give that a try.

If none of the above works (all excellent suggestions) try looking for a corrupted saved workspace. That’s known to generate a crash message upon quitting Photoshop.

Naturally, this assumes you have tried trashing preferences to no avail.
