Wondering if anyone out there is using Photoshop for creating texture maps for fonts in 3D games.
What I am looking for is a script or plug-in that would take a 32 bit .tga file containing a string of characters (0, 1… A, B… a, b…) laid out in a row, and spit out a texture map (sized to open GL dimensions) and a text file. The text file would contain the coordinates of each character in the texture map. This task is well-beyond my scripting talents. If anyone out there has a script or plug-in, or knows of another app that can do this, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks,
-Adam
