Hello I download a trial version of Photoshop cs3 extended for Windows xp. I have a strange problem. Whenever I load up a picture in Photoshop cs3 extended, if the back round of the picture is dark. Mostly anything of dark black color in the back round the picture looks as if it has dead pixels in it. For example I took some pictures of my kids in my car. The color of my seats are black. In Photoshop cs3 extended it looks like the seat colors have tiny black dots on them. When viewed outside of Photoshop they look fine. I only get this in Photoshop cs3 extended. I have Cs2, on another partition and it works fine. If anyone has any answers I would really like to hear them as this is very frustrating. Thanks.

Check you colour settings. Compare them with CS2 (all of them!)

Thanx john

thou of that also. double checked everything. Have everything set the same to as cs2. I still get what looks like dead pixels on black colors in cs3.
