EXR channels readout

The EXR (and other professional image formats), can contain extra channels like Zbuffer ObjectID MaterialID etc.. Is there a way to read these channels in photoshop?

Thanx, that works at least for my "alpha apply" problem, but the extra channels are still missing.

I found a plugin which is still in beta but very promising: <http://www.fnordware.com/ProEXR/>

🙁 but the alpha is apllied again…

A new beta of ProEXR has been posted that will not automatically apply the Alpha if you hold down the option/alt key when opening the file. Give it a try and send in feedback.
