problem when getting the CS3 trial

after i finish with the file that i downloaded from the adobe website I go to this part of the folder <http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/9306/setupqr4.jpg>
then after double clicking on setup this appears <http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/4773/fwffwfwewgs7.jpg> it shows a file being transfered to a random folder for like 5 seconds then nothing.

can anyone who has this problem or knows how to fix this please help meÉ

Kent,

Did you try to start Setup from within the downloaded archive?

That would be the wrong way, unpack everything to a temporary folder and then launch Setup.

I did just that. A progress bar shows up for awhile. At the end, a larger window opens for half a second (too short to read what it is) and closes then … nothing.

Kent, in that folder there is a setup app.

I double-clicked it as instructed by Rob but then .. see my message above. So I’m as puzzled as you.

ok here it is.

I go to the website and click on download cs3 extended trial <http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/390/step1yk2.jpg>

then this appears.

then i hit save file and it starts downloading

then this appears and i hit next

then it starts extracting

then after its done this appears

then i hit finish and this happens

then nothing.. it does this for like 5 seconds then it disapears and hers is a pic of the folder it creats when finished extracting <http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/5425/step8oh3.jpg>

then i click on photoshop

then adobe cs3 and all this appears

and if i hit setup same thing happens shows folders for a few second then nothing.

any suggestions wha i should do

Ok, next I would temporarily disable internet security when launching the installer.

By going to your internet security application and disabling it.
