I’m attempting to make a change to jpegs ina folder on my computer. They’re photos taken on a 6 megapixel camera and I want to reduce them to around 350 pixels high maintaining the aspect ratio. i’ve got as far as File>Batch Processing and am now being offered a choice of jpeg qualities to convert to (low, medium, high and max).

i want to import the files/images into Flash MX for inclusion on a CD Rom. I imagine that i want them to be around 720 dpi and no more than 350 pixels high. Is this a sensible way forward? If so, what quality of jpeg should I convert to?

thanks in advance

Be sure you do some practice runs with different res settings. I find that my 5 megapix’s SHQ images have to be looked at very carefully for sharpness, etc. after a batch resize. Far more of a problem than from lower megapix cameras.
