One way is batch processing using free Irfanview (www.irfanview.com). The insanely intelligent PSers will supply an action (search Help for ‘batch command’)

I recorded an action – converted one jpg to bmp — selected all the images using the browser, then went to File|Automate|Batch.
Thanks for the stimulus to learn something in order to help someone else, WK.
