elements 3 help/topics states that "printing direct from organizer defaults to 220 dpi,for speed an economy" but I,m glad to hear that 220dpi in editor is a bug.

I believe that Organizer does do all printing at 220 PPI [not DPI, which is something else entirely]. Almost all pictures will yield very satisfactory results at this resolution.

In Editor, if you are printing single images, you have [almost] total control. The Size/PPI of your image is respected if you print at 100%. Other percentages scale the PPI value.
