Thanks John i will try that
With both files open;
ImageOne = Original grille
ImageTwo = New grille
Drag ‘new grille’ layer to ImageOne
place New Grille layer on top.
Toggle New Grille layer On/Off to see ‘before and after’

I have a car file in which i want to modify the front grill. The new front grill layer is a completely new file.
I tried to copy and paste from one layer file to another but it does not work.
I would like to know how to take a layer in file one and have it replace the same layer in file 2
