I know this is probably "old hat" for everyone here, but could you help me with something?

I am scanning slides as TIF files and editing them in PS CS. Before editing I am able to add photo info under "properties" in File Explorer. this is where I am adding info on date the photo was taken, comments on what is in the photo etc.

After editing in PS CS this info is gone and Windows XP will not allow me to add it back. It says something about Can not edit propertied, the file being in use or being read only.

I know PS CS offers something the ability to add this information in the program, but I don’t want to have to open PS just to see these comments.

I like the ability to see these comments while in Windows XP "File Explorer".

Is there a work around?

This is the Photoshop Elements forum. For CS, you need to post here: <http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?14@@.ee6b366>
