I have a 32 bit targa (24 bit + transparency) I wish to use as a logo image. I want to watermark some artwork with this image, but I cannot copy-paste because it’s copying the white background from the targa. The white background is supposed to be transparent. How do I copy only the non-transparent image from the tga file to my images I want to watermark?

Thank you,

Tanner

If you load the image into PSE and it has a white background, the original clear did not have any transparency.

Try duplicating the background layer and, on the new layer, delete the background [Magic Wand perhaps], the CTRL/A, CTRL/C [select all, copy].
