Elements problem

When ever I rotate an image, it creates 2 or 3 additional TMP images in the same directory.

For example, if I rotate an image named CSCF1848.JPG in Elements I will see the image rotated. But if I look in the directory I will see CSCF1848_edTPM-1.JPG, CSCF1848_edTPM-2.JPG, and sometimes CSCF1848_edTPM-3.JPG. This will happen with each file I rename.

I was experencing this with XP Professional, and just chalked it up to ‘weirdness’ but I recently reinstalled with windwos Media Center and am experencing the exact same problem.

I thought it was google desktop locking the files, so I told it to omit indexing the pictures directory, that didn’t work. So shut it down, problem still there.

Any Idea as to how to fix this?

Sincerely,
Vince
