I am trying to create a slide show for viewing that would show the name or number of the photo for printing request. I guess a system that gives reference to the photo.

In CS3, I understand that in the bridge you can create a stack and this can be used for a slide show.

I bet there is a way to get the metadata (no. of the photos) to show in this slide show but a guru will have to help you with that.

What version are you using. They will need to know that.
